Q: Can I register for in-person and switch to virtual at a later date? 

A: Yes. You will simply need to contact Cynthia Haywood at chaywood@insurancecouncil.org to make the change before August 16. 

Q: Can I register for virtual and switch to in-person at a later date? 

A: Yes. You will simply need to contact Cynthia Haywood at chaywood@insurancecouncil.org to make the change before August 16.  

Q: If I registered early in 2020 and opted for the 2020/2021 registration after the switch to a fully virtual event, what should I do?  

A: Instructions were emailed to you on February 10, 2021. Please contact Cynthia Haywood at chaywood@insurancecouncil.org with more questions and instructions.  

Q: How will I sign in the day of the event? 

A: ICT is working on an electronic sign-in/sign-out for our attendees. 

Q: Will the hotel provide keyless entry into rooms? 

A: Yes. Please see some other safety measures the Hyatt Regency Austin is taking to keep guests safe.  

Q: What safeguards is the Hyatt taking to ensure participants safety? (Including food services, conference seating, before and between sessions, and hotel room cleaning.) 

A: Please review what the Hyatt Regency Austin is doing to keep guests safe.  

Q: Will all onsite participants be in one room? Is ICT limiting the number of in-person attendees? (If there’s an overflow room, will participants be able to pose questions to the speakers? Will online participants be able to pose questions to the speakers?) 

A: ICT and the Hyatt Regency Austin are making your safety a top priority. Meeting with current local policies, the ballroom will be setup classroom style with socially distant tables in place. While we will not have our usual maximum capacity from prior years, in the main ballroom, we will have an overflow room. Participants in all locations will be able to ask questions. Overflow room and virtual attendees will be able to ask questions via a chat feature and moderator.  

Q: Will the silent auction, which benefits the ICT Education Foundation, be available online? 

A: We are excited to announce this is the first year ICT will be hosting the Silent Auction online. Auction items will be present the day of the event and participants will be able to bid using their mobile devices. More details to come as the Symposium and Silent Auction near.  

Q: Will CE/CLE credits be applied for in person and online participants? 

A:  Yes, ICT will be applying for CE/CLE credits for both in-person and online participants.  

Q:  Will the program be recorded and available after the event?  

A: The Symposium will be recorded and available to all registered participants.  CE/CLE credits will only be offered for in-person and virtual participants, not recordings.
